The best start for every child - where children learn through play
We believe that every child is unique and should be given the opportunity to be an active learner, to form positive relationships and to have fun.
We provide a safe and stimulating environment where young children can grow, explore, play and learn. We are run by qualified and highly experienced teachers and staff, who support, challenge and extend a child’s development.
We plan and introduce broad curriculum themes, to allow us to develop and extend children’s understanding, awareness and experiences, whilst also allowing children to follow and build on their own interests.
Our purpose built nursery is carefully planned, set up and resourced to reflect all areas of the Early Years curriculum. Children are encouraged to make their own choices, with staff supporting, scaffolding, modelling and extending their understanding through play.
We are fortunate to have a lovely outdoor garden which allows us to develop and broaden all areas of the curriculum whilst moving and exploring in the fresh air.
The transition from the nursery to starting school in FS2 is smooth and highly successful due to the shared site, excellent communication between staff and the same great ethos towards learning.
We are able to offer 15 hours of Universal Funding (attending 5 morning sessions or 5 afternoon sessions) as well as 30 hours of Extended Free Entitlement for families who are eligible. Please visit www.childcarechoices.gov.uk for more information about this.
